Katekyo Hitman Reborn

Post by Useless on Thu Aug 14, 2008 12:34 am

The best shounen ever! Or maybe it isn't. I think it is, though, because I'm an obsessive Yamamoto fanboy.

Don't waste time judging me, hurry up and discuss~

This future arc has for the most part been a pile of shit. I however like Gamma, I liked the Yamamoto fight, even though brief & the Hibari one was pretty good.

Heh, Hibari's fight against Genkishi really showed off his awesomeness Smile

Though it was a bit of a cop-out to switch to his old self, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. Let's see how Hibari uses his Cloud Ring...Very Happy

Yeah I really don't understand what happened at the end.

His inverted spike arena power thing however was reminiscent of the Varia arc, so I fell in love.

The future hasn't really been shitty, it's just not as good as the rest of the manga. I really didn't like the introduction of the boxes in the first place, but I've gotten over it. The biggest travesty has been Yamamoto's fight. He was beat already! He MUST stand up while Hibari fights Genkishi and they need to double team him. He has to. Because he's my obsession. /pets pictures. >_>

Ryohei, Yamamoto and the numerous plot holes(like the fact that the future selves that were sent into the past couldn't just kill Irie Shouichi or the fact that Reborn's corpse didn't appear in his stead) are the biggest problems I've had. I've liked just about everything else, since I've gotten over the box thing.

Never thought about the past selves going back & killing him.

What I also didn't understand is, the Varia were beat by the guardians but somehow they are still the Varia. Surely they would have been replaced.

And lol wall.

The Varia are different from guardians...so they can be the Varia without being the guardians. It doesn't make sense that they weren't replaced after staging the coup way back before the start of the manga, but not being replaced after the Varia arc makes sense since their leader was...not there anymore. I guess that's why they weren't replaced last time. There was no one to lead them that would do the stuff that Xanxus did. :/

Then who is leading them now?

And the Varia don't seem like pack animals, but they get defeated, almost killed & tag along.

We don't know who's leading them. They aren't animals in that they'll follow whoever to do whatever...they followed Xanxus because they liked him, or something. :/

Loyalty and all that jazz.

Yeah so who are they loyal to now? It seems the only one who died was Xanxus. Apparently ring rejection has a higher fatality rate than being, lets say, eaten by sharks.
