Xanxus didn't die either, I don't think...

He was probably imprisoned or something. In that one prison Mukurou was sent to....

They're loyal to the Vongola now. They've always been the Vongola's assassins, so they followed Xanxus since he was supposedly the 10th.

Mukurou is epic and he couldn't escape....for more than a few minutes, anyways.

And he wasn't in their stricter holding areas at that time. I'm guessing Xanxus would be put there immediately.
