Byakuya VS Renji

I have been given the go ahead to make versus threads, yey!

Ok so rather than spamming Renji's thread I am making a topic solely on Byakuya VS Renji.

Mainly because it is very unlikely they will have a rematch & it would be nice to discuss how you think it will all play out.

Byakuya will still win but I think Renji could give him a hard time.
If his bankai wasn't that clumsy he could have a chance.

it's starts with renji talking shit about about he can finally kick Bya's ass and then Bya will politely say "have you learned nothing from out last battle?" to which Renji will respond "I have become a million times stronger than what i was back then!"

Bya: closes eyes* "Renji, a commoner such as you will never hope to surpass one of the noble Kuchiki clan, be warned, i may not be so lenient this time"...."i will kill you"

Renji: "I wouldn't want it any other way. But, you can try Kuchiki Taicho"

Well that is the problem really isn't it. Byakuya is up there with the fastest & Renji is up there with the slowest & anime & manga has proven to me that speed is always the most important thing, even more important than strength.

well speed is def. a huge factor in who is the winner, but skill in all forms of the shinigami discipline are essential, and as we well know Renji is HORRIBLE at kido and slow as all hell. So does he stand a chance, after 1000 yrs more training he might hold a candle against byakuya, but chances are he'll be an even harsher force to be reckoned with.

Well Byakuya can keep his distance & not have his damage power dropped, he can if he wanted to, not even unsheathe his sword & something as slow as the Baboon King would be like outrunning the fat kid.

Renji relies on his sword skills & brute strength & requires a slow or close range opponent to win. Byakuya is neither.

Renji would definitely get pwned I thought this was obvious.
